Santa Carolina
Description
The history of the Santa Carolina winery dates back to 1875. Entrepreneur Luis Preira bought a vineyard planted with French vines near Santiago - Plaza de Armas.
Today Santa Carolina owns about 650 hectares of prestigious vineyards in the regions of Maipo Valley, Rapel, Maule, Casablanca. Here are grown such varieties as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec, Chardonnay, Syrah, Carmenere, Semillon and others.
For centuries, Santa Carolina has remained known and recognized in world markets for maintaining the winemaking tradition and quality of the farm.
